Here's a still from my latest 2.5D matte painting I finished a couple of weeks ago. I added a few elements here and there for the still. I painted it in Photoshop using custom brushes and image comping. For the actual 2.5D final composite I used Maya and Aftereffects. About 70 hours to complete, give or take a few
